Mr. President great to see you. You are facing legal challenges, in your opinion, does this help you or hurt you in terms of your chances to win in 2024.
TRUMP: If you listen to the fake news media it helps. Because they are all saying it is a scam. People that don’t like me say this is terrible to do for our country. I don’t know whether it helps of hurts. In my opinion it is a way of cheating on the election. It is election interference. What they are doing if they can’t win at the Ballot Box. I’m leading by a lot in the poles. or every Republican and Dem, credit by a lot including Biden. By a lot. They cant’ beat that. They will do this kind of stuff. Never don like this in the History of the Country to this extent. People are pleading with the prosecutor, don’t do it, the temperature is wrong. Democrats and even people that are not exactly my fans are saying don’t do it. Because I did not do anything wrong.
Hannity: Let me ask you this, then. I thought about this last week. I saw your post on Truth Social and I read the reports. In the New York Times and I saw all over the media speculation that you were going to be arrested. Arraigned, a mug shot, finger prints and maybe hand cuffed? How do you deal with this?
Trump: We seem to be dealing with dishonest people and thugs. Dealing with people I believe that hate our country. Last night I had a rally with tens of thousands of people. The the Press admitted there were 25 – 30,000 thousand people.. in Waco, Texas. It was like a love fest. It was incredible and at the same time they are people that feel they have been hurt by the way the country is being run. Look at Texas in an example and Arizona look at the border. They walk through Texas and Arizona it is affecting every state in the Union. People are poring into the country. The government is giving fake numbers, I predict it will be 15 Million people by the end of the year. They are coming from mental institutions, insane asylums and from prisons. You know the prisons are being emptied out in South America. They are being dropped into our country. The mental institutions in South America and all over the world are being emptied and they are traveling in through our Southern Border.
I had the strongest safest Southern Border in recorded history including for drugs. You know drugs are coming in at the rate of 10 times more than they were 3 years ago. People are hurt by it.
